BMCC-VISING DAY AT LAKE VIEW SCHOOL

We are grateful to Almighty God who strengthens us to continue serving Him by showing love to others. As Jesus says  in Mathew 25:27 “ For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was a stranger and you took me in, I was naked and you clothed me , I was sick and you visited me and I was in prison and you came to me”. We are responding on this word by showing the love of God to our friends with albinism and other vulnerable groups . We have been visiting the Jerrys schools, Butimba colleges and many other individuals with albinism who have found our church as a right center of hop. Currently number of believers with albinism who have decided to worship with us is increasingly. This is because of the spirit of love which is in our senior Pastor Valentine Mbuke. His heart of love to vulnerable groups has imitated to the whole church. So on 22nd Feb, 2014;  God granted us an opportunity to visit Lake view schools.
On this  very special day, we were luck to meet with some few parents who came to visit their children with albinism. So we had a time of sharing our vision as church and  showing love to the kids who had abandoned by their parents. They were very pleased with what we are doing as a church to step in the shoes of the parents who were responsible to show love to their kids.

The purpose of the church is to show love of God to these people. We are always carrying the message of love, forgiveness and self acceptance to these children. Also as a church we are standing as parents to the kids, by creating good friendship, giving some gifts to them according to the way God helps us. So at Lake View,  despite of the small gifts we brought there but we had a time of sharing the word of God which is the most important for us;  Whereby Sister Grace Cholobi (church member of BMCC) shared a word of love and forgiveness to the kids. That in life we should learn to love one another as the way God loved the world and He sent His only begotten son, Jesus Christ for us. But also we should learn to forgive and ask forgiveness for those who make mistakes to us and those whom we do too. The kids were very joyful of the message. They even had a time of saying that for sure BMCC are best friend like Under the same sun.we had a time also to meet with under the same sun staffs where Mr. Adam and the Sister Vick ntetema (the Director of Under the same sun) joined our team and shared a greetings to the kids, so it was very blessing day.

The trip was overwhelmed with love, when the children saw us they were so happy, we could see their smiling faces, and because we have been visiting them for a while now, some could manage to  call us by our names. We managed to give all gifts to children, to have furn with children and they could not want us to leave them after the visiting time. This shows how much we have touched their life and  impacted love in them.

This is Pastor Valentine Mbuke
